Common questions about ordering with India Buying Agent and shipping from India to your country

India Buying Agent is a buying agent in India—not a store. You tell us what to buy; we purchase from sellers, receive goods at our warehouse, combine parcels when it helps, and arrange international shipping to your address in the country you choose.
You pay in stages on your order page (see two payments). We are not the retailer and we do not guarantee product quality.
Go to New order. Add product links or clear descriptions, sizes, quantities, and your delivery country and address. Submit when ready.
We reply on the order comments with the USD total (usually within about 12–24 hours). Read it, ask questions in the order comments if needed, then pay the first payment only when the total and steps there are correct. Guide: how to order.
We buy from sellers in India—major online shops, smaller stores, and in-store purchases when you give clear details (product, size, price, location). Send a product link when you have one, or describe the item in your order.
If we are not sure we can purchase from a seller, we will tell you on your order page before you pay.
Many India sellers do not ship abroad, only accept local payment, or use listings you cannot check out from overseas. A buying agent purchases locally, receives goods at our warehouse in India, and arranges export shipping to your address.
You still pay import duties and taxes in your country when they apply. We coordinate buying and shipping; we are not the retailer.
Our service fee (service fee) is separate from product price and international shipping. Current rule: 20% of product subtotal, minimum $20 USD (about 20 USD) (on product subtotal, before shipping).
The fee covers purchasing on your behalf, seller communication, consolidation/repacking when it saves weight, and preparing export paperwork from India. Numbers on the order form are only a starting point; we confirm the final total on your order page before your first payment. Estimate: service fee calculator.
Most orders use two payments in USD on your order page (amounts you pay in other currencies appear on the order when we offer them—see paying in another currency). They are separate because we cannot know international shipping cost until we have your goods in hand.
After items arrive at our warehouse in India, we combine multiple products into one parcel when it helps, pack the box, then weigh and measure the finished package. Carriers price shipping from that packed weight and size, your destination, and the route—not from guesses at checkout.
- First payment: product cost, our service fee, and seller shipping to our warehouse when we can include it in that first-payment total (see domestic seller shipping).
- Second payment: international shipping to you, plus any product or domestic-shipping adjustments we agreed on your order page, and optional extras—we share this total in the order comments only after we pack and weigh.
Pay each stage only when you are ready and the amounts on your order page are correct. Price changes: price, stock, or shipping changes.
In the order comments, we list line items in USD. A typical order looks like this:
- Product subtotal — what the seller charges for the items.
- Service fee — our service fee (rules).
- Domestic shipping — seller to our warehouse in India when it applies (usually in the first payment).
- Adjustments — small price or shipping differences at purchase, or credits, per price changes.
- International shipping — after we pack and weigh, on the second payment (two payments).
- Optional extras — photos, repack, etc., when you request them (extras).
Import duties and taxes in your country are separate and paid to your government or carrier when required—not in our USD totals unless we say otherwise.
There is no single price for every country. We cannot confirm your exact international total until we receive, pack, and weigh your parcel at our warehouse (see two payments).
Carriers charge by actual weight and size; large but light boxes may use volumetric (dimensional) weight, which can cost more than you expect. We reply on the order comments with your shipping total before the second payment.
Our international shipping page explains carriers and destinations only. It does not show live prices.
Usually yes—we ship from India to many international destinations. Enter your delivery country and address on the order form so we can check carriers, restrictions, and import rules for your country.
If we cannot ship an item to you, we say so on your order page before you pay. See also where we ship.
Yes, before we ship internationally—tell us on your order page as early as you can. A new country may change carriers, cost, or whether we can ship at all.
After we share the second payment total in the order comments (shipping total) for a specific destination, changing country or address may require a new shipping total. We confirm on the order page before you pay that stage.
We ship from India to worldwide destinations. Tell us your delivery country and address when you place an order. Import rules vary by country; we confirm what is possible before you pay.
Wondering about a specific country? See do you ship to my country.
We try to move every order along as fast as we can—your order page is where we communicate, and we care about keeping you updated. This is still not one-click checkout; expect back-and-forth on your order page (often 10 or more messages) while we confirm pricing, buy, pack, and ship.
Timing is not fully in our control. Delays often come from:
- the seller shipping slowly or in split parcels;
- goods taking longer than expected to reach our warehouse in India;
- international carriers (transit slower than estimated, peak seasons, routing changes);
- customs in your country or export checks in India.
Many orders finish in about 10 to 30 days end to end when things go smoothly—that is a rough guide, not a promise. We buy after your first payment clears (usually the same business day). For stage-by-stage ranges, see how long each step takes.
It depends on your country and order size. We often use bank transfer, PayPal, cards, and Wise when available. The overview is on our payment methods page; your order page lists what you can use for each payment after we share totals in the order comments.
We show amounts in USD; other currencies when offered are explained under paying in another currency.
Most orders have two payments (see what the two payments are). After you submit an order, we reply in the order comments with step-by-step instructions for each stage—bank transfer, PayPal, cards, Wise, and others when available in your country.
Overview: payment methods. Pay only the total shown for that stage. Non-USD pay-in: currencies.
We share order totals in USD in the order comments. You can often pay in other currencies (euros, pounds, local bank currency, and others). Ask on your order or see payment methods for what we support in your country.
When you pay in a non-USD currency, we convert from the USD total and reply in the order comments with the exact amount to send. That figure may be slightly higher than a plain exchange-rate calculator because it can include exchange-rate movement, bank fees, and transfer costs we need to cover.
Send only the currency and amount shown on your order page for that payment. Do not guess or use an outdated total.
Many public tools show a mid-market rate: a midpoint between buy and sell prices. That is fine for a quick comparison, but it is not always what we receive when we collect or send money.
Rates on India Buying Agent (including the pricing calculators and your order page) are our rates. They can differ a little from mid-market because they need to cover bank charges, payment processing, and normal operating margin. The amount that counts is what we write on your order page before you pay.
After you approve the total on your order page and your first payment clears, we usually buy from the seller the same business day. You do not need to message us again to say “go ahead”—approval plus cleared payment is enough.
We do not purchase before payment clears. If the seller’s price or domestic shipping changed at checkout, see price, stock, or shipping changes for how we handle small vs large differences and credits.
Sellers change prices and stock without notice. The total on your order page is current when we write it—not forever.
If you wait many days before paying, the item may sell out, cost more, or need a new total. Paying soon after you approve the total reduces surprises. If a lot changes before we receive payment, we update the order page and wait for your OK—see price, stock, or shipping changes.
Every order is different. These are typical ranges—not guarantees:
- Order total on your order page: often within about 12–24 hours after you submit (longer if we need more details).
- First payment and purchase: we buy after your payment clears (usually the same business day); seller dispatch to our warehouse in India often takes a few days to about two weeks.
- International shipping total: after goods arrive and we weigh/measure—usually within a few business days.
- Transit to you: depends on carrier and country; many routes are roughly 5–15 days after dispatch, but delays happen.
Overall, many orders land around 10–30 days start to finish. Status updates stay on your order page.
Your order page shows a status label. Common ones:
- Pending — we received your order and are reviewing it.
- Needs Payment — your USD total is ready; pay the first payment when you are ready (why pay soon).
- Processing — we are working on your order (often after payment; details are in the order comments).
- Purchasing — we are buying from the seller and/or waiting for delivery to our warehouse in India.
- On Hold — we need something from you (stock, price, address, or a decision) before we continue.
- Shipped — your international parcel is with the carrier; tracking when available.
- Delivered — the carrier reports delivery to your address.
- Completed — order closed on our side.
- Cancelled — order was cancelled.
When goods arrive and we are ready to bill shipping, we reply in the order comments with the second payment total—the status may still show Processing or Purchasing until you pay and we ship. Always follow the latest message in the order comments.
Yes. We do not accept orders for weapons, hazardous or risky chemicals, counterfeit or infringing goods, or anything illegal. Carriers, airlines, and customs also restrict many other categories—explosives, drugs, some batteries and liquids, perishable foods, and more. What is allowed depends on your destination and the exact item.
Describe sensitive items in your order notes. We tell you on your order page before you pay if we cannot buy or ship them. See our terms and food, liquids, and electronics.
You (the recipient) pay customs duties, VAT, brokerage, and other import charges in your destination country when your government or carrier requires them. They are not included in our product or shipping totals unless we write otherwise on your order.
We cannot predict exact amounts; carriers may collect fees on delivery. Declaration and holds: how we declare value, customs holds.
Sellers change prices, run out of stock, and change domestic shipping fees without warning. The total on your order page reflects what we know when we write it—it is not locked forever.
Before your first payment clears you may wait several days. Pay only the latest total shown when you send money. If the seller’s price moved a lot before we receive payment, we reply in the order comments with an updated total and wait for your OK.
At purchase (after your first payment clears—see when we buy):
- Slightly higher product or seller-to-warehouse shipping: we usually still buy and add the extra to your second payment.
- Much higher: we stop and ask on your order page whether to continue or cancel before we buy.
- Lower: we keep the difference as credit on your order balance toward your second payment (international shipping and the rest).
- Out of stock: we do not buy; we tell you on the order page and agree on next steps (different item, wait, or cancel per our refund policy).
After we have bought from the seller, changes and refunds are usually limited—see the refund policy.
When the seller charges shipping to our warehouse in India, we include it in the first payment total on your order page together with product cost and our service fee.
If we cannot include that domestic leg in the first payment (for example, the fee is unknown until after purchase), we add it to the second payment instead—we always show which payment each charge belongs to on your order page before you pay that stage.
If the seller offers free domestic shipping, your total reflects that. If the fee changes later, see price, stock, or shipping changes.
Everything lives on your order page—especially the order comments:
- Before international shipping: we do not post an update for every purchase or every seller shipment to our warehouse in India—that gets noisy on orders with many items. We use the order comments when something needs your attention: delays, problems, or clear milestones (for example when we are still waiting on a few remaining items, or when everything has arrived and we are ready to pack). Ask in the order comments anytime you want a check-in.
- After we ship to you: we share the international carrier tracking number in the order comments when the carrier gives us one.
Not every route has full door-to-door tracking. Speed and detail depend on the carrier and your country.
Often yes, when items arrive at our warehouse around the same time and carriers allow one parcel to your country. Tell us on your order page if you want goods held to ship together.
One seller may send multiple domestic packages; we still treat it as one order when it makes sense. Combined shipping is priced after we have weights and sizes—on your order page before the second payment.
Send whatever you have: another link, screenshots, store name, product title, size, color, and price. Use the notes on your order.
If we cannot identify the item or seller, we will ask on your order page before you pay. We do not buy or charge the first payment until you approve the total there.
No. We buy from third-party sellers on your instructions. We do not manufacture products and we do not warrant what sellers list or ship.
We do not guarantee quality, authenticity, condition, or that items match descriptions, photos, or listings. We do not knowingly buy counterfeits—see replicas. If something is wrong, we will help you contact the seller when we can; see wrong or missing items.
No. We do not knowingly purchase counterfeit, replica, or infringing goods. If a listing looks illegal or high-risk, we may decline the order.
You choose what to request; we are not responsible if a seller mislabels goods. See quality and authenticity and our terms.
We complete customs paperwork using information from your order and what we actually paid the seller, as required by the carrier and export rules. You are responsible for ensuring the shipment complies with your country’s import laws.
Do not ask us to declare a false value. Misdeclaration can lead to fines, seizure, or return at your expense.
The carrier or customs authority in your country may hold a parcel for inspection, charge duties or VAT, or refuse entry. You may need to pay fees or provide documents they request.
Tell us on your order page if you receive a notice. Return or disposal costs are usually yours unless we agreed otherwise in writing on the order.
Maybe—your destination, the carrier, and the exact item matter. Airlines and customs restrict many foods, liquids, lithium batteries, and similar products.
Tell us what you want in your order notes. We will say on your order page before you pay if we cannot buy or ship it. See also items we cannot ship.
Sometimes. Size, weight, and your destination determine which carriers are available and what they charge. There is no flat rate for oversized goods.
Describe dimensions and weight in your order if you know them. We reply in the order comments with options and the international shipping total after we measure at the warehouse.
International delivery is handled by third-party carriers and customs authorities. Delays and customs seizure can happen without warning. They are not fully under our control—see how long orders take and customs holds.
We pick routes that fit your order and flag risky lanes when we can. We do not sell shipping insurance unless we say so on your order. If a parcel is lost or physically damaged after dispatch, see lost or damaged after shipping. For any issue, contact us on your order page first.
10 days free storage at our warehouse once goods are ready. Tell us on your order page to ship or to extend storage (USD 5 per day, agreed and prepaid). We may combine orders that arrive within the same window. If you do not reply during the free period after we contact you, we may dispose of goods. We are not a long-term warehouse.
Yes, when we offer it for your order. Examples: product photos, opening a parcel to check contents, removing retail boxes to save weight, or reinforcing the outer carton.
Request it in your order notes or on your order page. Extra services may have a fee; we confirm before we do the work. They are not a quality or authenticity guarantee.
We include 10 days free storage once goods are ready (see free storage). We will message you on the order page when action is needed.
If you do not respond during the free period after we contact you, we may dispose of goods. We are not a long-term warehouse. Extended storage is USD 5 per day, agreed and prepaid.
We review each delivery as received: outer packaging, labels, and parcel count, not the inside of sealed goods.
We do not open packages or check contents unless you ask us to on your order (see photos and extra services). That optional inspection may carry a fee, is limited in scope, and is not a quality guarantee.
Tell us on your order page as soon as you know—ideally before we ship internationally. We may help you contact the seller for exchange or refund when that is still possible in India.
We do not guarantee the seller will fix the problem. You may ask about returning to the seller before export. After international shipment, seller returns are usually not available.
Sometimes, before we ship internationally, if the seller offers an exchange (wrong size, color, or model) and India rules allow it. Ask on your order page as soon as you know there is a problem.
A replacement is not the same as returning for a refund. We coordinate when we can; the seller must agree, and extra domestic shipping or fees may apply. We do not guarantee a swap will work.
Before we purchase from the seller (see when we buy):
- If you have not paid yet, or payment is still processing—contact us on your order page; we can usually change or cancel the order.
- If your first payment cleared but we have not bought yet—contact us immediately; cancellation may still be possible (fees may apply).
After we have bought from the seller: refunds are generally not available.
After we ship internationally: no returns or refunds. A domestic return to the seller before export is sometimes possible—return before we ship abroad.
Full detail: returns & refunds policy.
Sometimes, if the seller agrees and India domestic return rules allow it. Ask on your order page before we dispatch internationally.
Return shipping, seller fees, and timing are between you and the seller. We coordinate when we can; approval and refund from the seller are not guaranteed.
Contact us on your order page with photos and the carrier tracking details. We will help you file a claim with the carrier when their rules allow it.
Carrier liability is limited by their terms. We are not responsible for loss or damage after handoff to the carrier unless our written policy on your order says otherwise. Broader delays and seizure: logistics risks.
Do not send another payment until we confirm. Message us on your order page with what you sent (amount, currency, date, method).
If you underpaid, we tell you the balance due for that stage. If you overpaid, we usually apply the extra as credit on your order balance toward the next payment (or explain a refund when that applies). Pay only the totals written on your order page for each stage.
Our role is purchase coordination and export shipping from India. We are not the retailer and we are not liable for product problems that originate with the seller or the listing.
By placing an order you accept these limits. Full legal detail is in our Terms and refund policy.
Start on your order page so everything stays with the order. Include your order number, what went wrong, and dates or amounts.
